One thing that will be needed - cleaning solutions and materials for each type of solar panel. Note that this is a repeat business, depending on how much bird poop, salt air, dust, etc., lands on the panels.

A solar cleaning supply store would be like a swimming pool supply store untit demand became so large the solar cleaning supplies are sold at Wal-Mart.

The second thing that is needed right now is some type protective storm shutter or rotatble hard cover for areas with high winds and hurricanes - like Hong Kong, coastal China, US Gulf coast, coastal India, northern Austrailia, etc.

Noting like seeing a couple of palm fronds and tree limbs that have smashed up your $20,000 brand new solar array.

Which means also means there will be niche for solar panel insurance to go with solar panel fianancing...at least until most business and homeowners insurance has an option of a "solar panel insurance rider" at standarized rates.

Most of this works which ever technology wins.
