May, June, July and august would be best. You may want to go to Sitka. it is right on the coast and is a small community full of poets, artists and writers. May because that is our dry period and when the kings start running (they are the first spawners) and August because that is when the silver (coho) salmon run and they are the best sport fish (for numbers) and great eating. Fishing is done in septemenber, it is usually wet and it turns cold.
