Barone is exactly right about confession and moving on, but the Dems as a group do not seem to believe in the value of confession or contrition.

For years I've said that Bill Clinton should have hired me for his lawyer instead of those pricier insiders he favored. I'd have counseled him to 'fess up on Monica right away, emphasize that it was consensual, and then move on. "Next question?"

That approach would have served him well. He would not have been castigated for perjury and obstruction, would not have been impeached, and would not have had to suffer the ignominy of having his law license revoked.

Obama seems to be counseled by a bunch of kids. He will not admit being wrong about anything. Their MO seems to be thuggy,
jack-booted anti-free speech tactics and phony denials backed up by finger-pointing accusations and descension into victimhood.
