It cracked me up to watch people call Saakashvili "stupid" for attacking Ossetia, and wonder why on earth he would do it. Obviously, Cheney & the Neocons goaded him to attack Ossetia. And just as obviously, Cheney was counting on the American media and European leadership to be easily manipulated into demonizing Russia.

Don't disagree but I think there is enough stupidity to go around that easily can include Saakashvili. No one twisted his arm to attack S. Ossetia with Russian troops amassing on the border. IMO Saakashvili is a neo....it doesn't take much to get them to start a war.
