OFF TOPIC - Paul - like yourself I am also on the lookout for a new PC to replace my old 486/66 - even my 8yr old son is now complaining about its slowness. this may be of interest to you - I just saw a ad last week in WSJ and also in this monday's IBD: NEC 300 Mhz Pentium II, 32 MB RAM, 56K USR modem etc etc for $2199 with a 15 inch NEC monitor; 17" is 219 extra (www.nec-now.com) - best price I've seen fora Pentium II.
