Posting from Uptown New Orleans. Gustav is getting gusty. Slept great. Just got up. Heard the wind a few times last night but went right back to sleep. House intact, so far. I cannot calculate how high the winds are. Perhaps a steady 50 mph. As a general proposition, I would have lost power by now. Expect I will very soon. I would say we are having steady TS type winds, which are not a big deal but the gusts do seem to be getting a bit stronger. Am catching up with weather stuff online now.
