I don't know. I look at this and can only think it's one huge joke. I'm sure the rest of the world is laughing. When you look at the bios of the women Many Moose posted about- Meg, Carly, Kay, Elizabeth Dole, Condi- when you LOOK at their educations, and their accomplishments- those are some awesome women. I could find some equally awesome dem women. Sigh. I just don't get this pick. Sure- I, like the founding fathers, am an elitist- I think education is a good thing in a country with complex laws and treaties. I think it's probably wise to have someone at the top who knows there are black people in Brazil, and someone who can pronounce "nuclear"... But hey- that's me. Elitist. Admirer of our elite founding fathers. Admirer of our great institutions of learning. Admirer of knowledge. I want America to be the best educated most elite country in the world. May our children all understand calculus, and be able to speak two languages- or at least one- their own :-) May our children all truly be above average... (if I can borrow a joke from PHC) What a noble goal that would be.
