Why is it a joke. Managemnet has said that 3Q is typically the weakest Q of the year. Here is a post on prodigy from 9/19: Talked with Jim Gale (GECM CFO/VP-Fin) , and no new news to report. EPS date will be OCT 23 and typically 3rd Qtr lowest of year. They are selling a lot of aquisition inventory in Aug -Sept (getting rid of) to get a fresh start for 4th qtr and beyond. They will need most of the credit line to fuel 1998 and beyond. Although he could not talk til after 23rd. he mentioned no insider is selling or plans to anytime soon. He is very positive about 4th qt and beyond. He and others going Monday to NY to visit with analyst"s to initiate more coverage. He feels there is too much volitility in stock now and that they need more coverage to smooth out the ride up. Key words"rideup".
