I actually was incorrect about Palin writing to Monegan in 2005. She actually wrote to Julia Grimes to make the case for investigating Wooten.

But again.. I see no impeachable offense on her part. Any pressure Todd Palin might have directly placed upon Monegan cannot be held against her as an abuse of power since Mr. Palin does not abdicate his rights as a private citizen merely because his wife is Governor (although it does appear awkward).
