After Obama's speech people were mesmerized, not turned off. In fact it was so spell binding the liberal news casters like David Gergin had to control their enthusiasm and emtions to appear unbiased, and conservative pundits had to hide their awe as it is not their job to congratualte Obama.

You are really misreading how that speech was seen by most people in the coutnry. It was flawless. And after mCCain's Rovian unrelenting attacks the dems wanted obama to fight back like kerry, gore and others did not.

Only the most rabid right wingers like Billy Kristol who would never say any dem is ever Ok (sort of like many people on this thread-lol)critisized obama's speech.

Even MOST of the conservative pundits gave the speech high marks.

You are one of the few to dis that speech. You must really hate dems!
