Hi David..
I guess I'm too trusting in people. I've taken people at face value until they prove otherwise. And, I must say, exept a for very few, people are generally honest and reliable. In my real estate work, I worked with all kinds of people of every religion, a lot of Jewish people, Muslims ( I assume as they were Arabs,) Oriental people, I don't know what they were. etc. They were all upstanding people. I then began to wonder about the Christians.
You ask how do I know the fellow from Integrity was a Christian? All I can respond is that first, he said he was; second, he acted like one (not that I'm a judge of how they act.) and lastly, if it looks like a duck, waddles like a duck and quacks like a duck, it is probably a duck.
What kind of litmus test do you use? And, I guess the follow-up to that would be, how about you guys, are you Christians, real Christians, pseudo Christians or what? :-) ( I'm only being half facetious.) And, then the follow up to that is why on earth would you want to be? All I've ever seen Christians do is either try to cheat people (Swaggert, Baker and the likes) or fight (Northern Ireland, the Crusades, the Inquistion, etc, etc.)or try to shove their views down other people's throats, (Right to Lifers.) I guess you have a real confusing religion.
