"And when you do it in this fashion, there is a good chance the story being covered is partially or completely true."

I haven't the slightest. It is damned odd, however. I have been reading on the Anchorage Daily News website, and it only gets stranger.

Palin has a reputation for secrecy and saying things that aren't quite true. Not sure if it is real or not, but there are at least some Alaskans who are convinced of it.

But, as we see on this board, there are some people who will believe almost anything.

Palin took some care to hide her pregnancy with Trig. There are many legitimate reasons for doing that, but it doesn't help with a wacko connect the dot crowd.

Here is a picture of her about 1 month before delivery.

That picture is real and not photoshopped. It is an enlargement of one in an ADN article on that date.

Apparently, she was in Texas at a Governor's conference when her water broke. She then gave a speech, got on a plane, flew 9 1/2 hours and then drove to her hometown to deliver.

And she refuses to release a copy of the birth certificate.

So, I can understand why the rumors persist. Not that I buy into them, I just don't have the information. But it is all very weird.
