I swear I don't know what to believe when he starts telling his tales. If he wasn't so lib and pompous, I would love to hear his stories. He keeps dropping the word "millions" in regard to finance a lot, is very bragadocious. He don't live rich.

His wife was showing a picture of the house they are looking at to buy, it is very modest, though expensive, California you know. He told me 2500 sq. ft. and this is for a man who once lived in a cave with stalagtites dripping water on him!

I think he told me once he trekked through VietNam to get to China and was captured and put in a camp. He may have gotten his own story confused with his father.

I thought he was making up the part about a charcoal truck, but I looked and this may be it:
