Don't get me wrong Mr. Owl, I too have voted for what has now become "The Dark Side" many times in the past as I actually vote for whoever I think is the best candidate (a shocking revelation, I'm sure). But when I saw what was happening with the Trillion dollars spent for the war in Afghanistan and Iraq, all based on a bald-faced lie, all to make us 100-fold Less Safe, I came to my senses. Lower taxes are one thing we all like, but spending a $$$trillion of our hard earned tax money (so far, more every day...) to mortgage my kids' future while making us all 100 times bigger "targets" than we have ever been before is so far beyond irresponsible that it just has to be dealt with in Nov. at the polls, so long overdue.

And as for the GOP's former concept of "smaller government"; the "Dept. of Homeland Terrorism and Destruction of Civil Liberties with Total Disregard for the U.S. Constitution" is the largest bureaucratic organization since Social Security. Many of my friends are of the same mind in that they just refuse to take it anymore. Enough is enough and the "oh so patriotic" dolts simply have to go.

And now the hockey puck picks another puck to potentially "rule" over us...

I don't think so, it ain't a gonna happen. And GW, the worst in history, bar none.
