Nonsense, GZ...you are flying blind. Palen is a disaster, an unmitigated disaster, for anyone who actually wants McCain to be elected. And, yes, her husband WAS a member of the AIP. The records confirm it. Do you dispute that? Look, she is the freaking iceberg that the McCain Titanic is heading for and traditional conservatives get it. The independents are fleeing McCain (read the polls) and, as I predicted from day one, she is a running joke that the media won't leave alone. The wounds are self-inflicted. She knew what she had done and must have known how it would all come out. The question is: Does McCain really think this makes him more likely to be elected than picking almost anyone else? The rest of you supposedly for McCain can go down with the Titanic. I say throw Palin overboard NOW so there is some hope of winning this election.
