Well, the Democratic choice for President had to go through every primary in the country. He had to campaign in just about all 50 states. He got about 18 million votes, so I think a lot more thought went into his selection than went into Palin's.

My first choice for the Democratic candidate would have been Mark Warner. He would be up by 20 points right now if he were the candidate. Hillary Clinton was my second choice and she would be up about 15 points right now if she had gotten the nomination.

BOTH McCain AND Obama are going to be running record deficits if they follow the platforms that they have been proposing. McCain is now saying he his going to support the tax cuts that Bush pushed through, even though he was against them at the time.
