So taking the someone else's hard-earned money and giving it to someone who is likely going to squander it is "equalizing the opportunities"?

So giving someone extra credit just because of the color of their skin is "equalizing the opportunities"?

That to me "does not compute." You might as well hand someone billions of dollars just because he or she had it tough.
