So, correct me if I'm wrong, but your opinion is that just because we're in a bull market, every stock should march in lockstep with the market averages? Just because Lee has been stregthening the company for the future, doesn't mean he's been sitting on his hands. If you were looking for a stock rocket, you're in the wrong place. Owning GTE recently has either been a dividend/slow growth play, or a bet on the consolidation of the telecom market. Either way, due to the circumstances before us now, it's obvious that alot of people think GTE has plenty going for it. If you think Lee's doing such a lousy job, then sell your shares... as for me, I think he's put GTE in exactly the right spot at the right time.
