The VP pick shows more about John McCains lack of judgement than anything in particular about Sarah Palin. McCain is a bad leader because he makes his decisions in isolation. Had he floated Palin's name for even a week before picking her he would have had some sort of feedback. Even if McCain thinks Palin was vetted in that short time the most important variable was not. The most important information he could have got was how she would be received by the potential voters and he just blew off the chance to get feedback on that. That shows a serious lack of judgement.
