To All,

Got a letter from Smith Barney on 10/1/97. Maybe old to you. I quote a paragraph

"During the several specialty finance sector correction, which lasted form November 1996 throught May 1997, Asmes shares fell 74% from it 52-week high, with many others in the group falling 50% - 60%. The early recovery in the shares was more fundamental in nature, while the recent acceleration was from the takeover-speculation articles publised in Business Week and the American Banker... The company was mentioned in American Banker as a potential buyout at $26 - $30 range. We fell the stock should be bought at current level for both fundamental value and a possible takeover."

Their entry point is 15 7/8. Hope this will help if you interested.
