92% of a schools districts budget comes from the State and local taxes. So it is the Gov, and the school boards that appropriate education funds. So I don't know what crap the Repubs talk about on education. The balance 8% of the funds comes from the Fed and that tales care of Federal issues such as ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act such as learning disabiliities etc.) You cannot win this argument with me since I am a director of a Charter school. So let us keep it there. You may want to take that argument to a uneducated simplistic rural folk in the heartland. Doesn't fly on the coasts. Bush -McCain is clueless on how to keep this country safe. Al Qaeda is alive and kicking. They attempted to assassinate a democratically elected Pakistani PM today. Today it is Pakistani PM, tomorrow those bastards will attempt to kill our Prez. Al Qaeda is not only alive and kicking butt they are waiting for BUsh or McCain to read a book to kindergardeneres before they attack us next.
