In my experience and in speaking with several colleagues at companies like MRK, PFE, SNY, JNJ and others, the time frame for writing up and publishing such work is from 2-6 years, depending on whether the lead compound from the series is progressing in development. If it is, then the company may wait until Ph 2b or Ph 3 fro the publication. In fact, some of my PFE friends say that only the dead end leads are published.
