Her "looking for a fight" countenance plus the speech of bashing Obama + minimal positive re: what McCain/Palin will do is part of what made it depressing, esp for a candidate who I barely know.. It's as if being mean is the only way you're perceived as "strong"............ I mean, not that I'm allergic to having sharp elbows but it didn't sit right for me...esp knowing the back story..I kept hearing myself say: "Sarah, I think you've got some important things in Alaska to tend to." That image of 4mo Trig + pregnant Bristol+daddy on the stage was poignant for me...........
