As far as funds go, all they reprsent to me is dilution. Not that I haven't held a fund or two. Just better for me to buy a few of the best companies in the particular country or region. As simple as it is, this approach will not work for every one. One must remain on top of events. The funds just don't ring my chimes. I don't feel I'm a part of the market mechanism. At least the purchasing of the individual companies permits me the fantasy. It also permits me exchanging views in this forum; and the pleasure of the company, albeit brief, of those who visit here.
