US elections are full of surprises. a year ago, who'd have thought Hillary would be a benchwarmer and a black guy who used to smoke pot and snort coke would be the presumptive Leader of the Free World? now, Repugs introduce perky hockey mom who looks the milf part, but is in fact vicious attack dog disguised as toy poodle. people are writing it all off, but in America you never know. as for McCain's "judgment", remember, US Clowngress and Shrub just wasted five years and trillions on a fruitless war. these people have no judgment (nor do the Dumbocrats). whoever is in office will do countless stupid things, though it will be hard to top the Bush record. it is very rare for a politician to do anything of benefit. the most one can hope for is that they do little harm, and "stay out of the way" of the real people who make a country productive. imo the only thing which will restore US to some resemblence of sanity is a complete collapse of clownbuck. when US must live within its means like other countries, we will return from Lala-land. that will be the end of the "exorbitant privilege."
