I can't argue with that.

But I hate to embarrass you by reminding you that it's McCain who is the candidate for President. <g> And that Vice Presidents historically have been inconsequential except when there is a tie vote in the Senate. They have been a succession of either dolts or non-dolts whose talents have been hidden under the proverbial bushel basket. The only practical reason why Palin could reasonably be of any greater interest is that McCain is a bit older than usual.

This flurry of interest IMO is an indicator of too much partisanship among people with too much time on their hands.
