What surprises me is the sarastic, mocking, and nearly contemptuous tone taken with respect to the opposition by Giuliani, and to a slightly lesser extent by Palin. We were bothered by this as well. In fact, my husband left the room during G's speech, and then when Palin started in with the same ugly tone, he gave up completely. He didn't like her. He said any one in Ammo's BFA acting class could do what she did, but it still didn't change her qualifications and that's the bottom line. We also agreed after the snarky attacks that there was no pretense left on McCain's side of even trying to stay out of the gutter. He will do anything to win.
