Darren,
I began doing research on RGFX and then came to this thread and started reading it. The same things that you noticed also caught my eye:
The S3 filed on Oct 9 state that ther were "9,554,558 shares outstanding at September 19, 1997". This is down from the numbers used in the last few quarters. Has the number of shares outstanding decreased or am I missing something here? Also note that the number of outstanding in the Q2 report decreased by 75k to 10.148 million. Has RGFX been buying back stock?
I am going to call the company in the morning and I'll try to find out about the declining number of shares.
Re: Q3 is usually a seasonally weak quarter for RGFX but last year they had an unusually strong Q3 which could make this quarter look bad by comparison
In '96 Q2 RGFX reported: $10,205, 680, and 0.09 with ??? In '96 Q3 RGFX reported: $10,212, 964, and 0.11 with 8.9M shares. In '97 Q2 RGFX reported: $14,114, 1,320 and 0.13 with 10.0M shares
If RGFX can come in Tuesday (before?? or after market??) with sales comparable to '97 Q2, the stock should have a positive reaction, at least I would hope so. To me, based on what I see in the numbers, the stock should be ready to breakout--what do you think is holding it back?? The stock seems to be undervalued, unless, of course, I am missing something. Since they have initiated options on RGFX, maybe they know something we don't:
