I listened to the conference call on edv.to. the company has bought back shares and doubled its dividend. disclosure still sucks.. The announced the book was over $12 c. at 6/30/08 however when i take out goodwill and intangibles i get C$10.32. if one accepts a 30% haircut in equity since 6/30/08 that number becomes $7.22 so it still doesnt look like a great bargain. Holmes attributes the decline in metals and energy stocks to hedge fund liquidations.
