I'm sorry, Sandi... is there a question in there somewhere for me?

(None of what you said disagrees even in the *slightest* with what I said about the legal ownership of 'public airwaves' in America.)

Note:

1) The legal right to use SOME radio frequencies has been auctioned off by Uncle Sam (for example: cell phone frequencies), so the new owners have BOUGHT the exclusive rights to use those frequencies. At the cost of many Billions of dollars.

2) Other parts of the radio spectrum (for example the parts currently in use by FM, by AM, and by TV broadcasters...) has NEVER been sold by the United States, but is leased in mostly non-cash transactions in exchange for the broadcasters being required to *do* certain things... such as the requirement for 'public service announcements', or the requirement for a certain number of hours of 'children's educational programing' to be aired each week, etc., etc.
