If everybody is like you, then it would be so easy to run a public company. If there is no dividend, no growth, only stupid people will hold it. That's very obvious. The GTE crash offer will create a huge financial hole to the company, it will suck up all of the cash flow, the financial sheet will simply be ugly. If you buy a stock just because you admire somebody in the company, or just want to create an opportunity for Mr. whatsoever, then of course it's your own choice. I belive in fundamantal, I believe in good people, but I don't belive anything magic.
