"I saved taxpayers money" is the subtext whenever somebody is introduced as a REFORMER. And she did do **some** very tokenized cost savings initiative like dumping that corporate jet. But her entire career in Alaska has been littered with earmarks, because Alaska is an earmark cesspool. She did, eventually back out of the bridge to nowhere while alaska governor, but only after the project became the national symbol for congressional pork and there was not enough money available to go through with it. THEN she cancelled the project but kept the money she already had. She also worked with Stevens' 529 group.

At a state level, alaskas oil reserves result in payouts of $3K-$4K PER PERSON for every citizen of alaska every year. IOW everybody is guaranteed a free welfare check and they don't have to do anything for it. Additionally, Alaska is the pork capital of the USA, there is no excuse for it.

If she was really so concerned that every down syndrome baby was born, how about RETURNING all Alaska oil reserve payouts to a federal FUND to pay for the healthcare for women who cannot afford to pay for this expensive endeavor. And for any leftover funds, put it in a TEENAGE MOTHER fund.

Sarah Palin is the most grandiose example of a hypocrite I have ever seen in politics, what a loser.
