No laws. Physics doesn't answer all the questions people dream up. It's meant to be a useful way to categorize observations about the physical world. No more or less. Doesn't mean religion does a better job at the bigger questions, only that it's a device humans find comforting. Or useful in less benevolent ways, like the Religious Right.
