IMHO, solid earnings this quarter maybe but not for long - soon the beginning of a series of disappointments for MSFT - clearly, their growth will significantly slow and you will be able to buy the stock at or below these levels mid next year. Further, the SUN suit is legitimate and coupled with the FTC scrutiny, the picture of how MSFT operates to dominate markets to the detriment of us all is becomming clearer to the policy makers in DC.

I personnally hope SUN yanks MSFT's JAVA license but I suspect they will somehow force compliance or a settlement - I want choices and with JAVA I will have them - MSFT's customers and developers should force them to comply with their JAVA license and I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen. It would be interesting to see MSFT compete on a level playing field with all the other companies writing JAVA code.

Why should be all be stuck with the crash prone Windows operating systems - I'd like to buy a more mature system that is stable and can run many apps - this is the JAVA promise and we should all - save MSFT shareholders - hope for this outcome.
