<What’s the source of all that anger?> Great article... and whether he knows it or not getting to the cruxt of things. Essentially that's WHY were IN Iraq, Bush and others are drawn to conflict like flys to .... well you know. Anger (fill in your emotion of choice) is attracted to anger. That's why angry people watch Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly... they're essentially angry people drawn to it like moths to a flame. Interstingly it doesn't matter if you watch them because you disagree or agree... Birds of a feather...The problem is intense emotionality, anger or whatever, doesn't go well with problem solving and higher brain function. It's fight of flight, no discernment or judgement needed, just attack. So what? Well, That's why Obama is so special, he seems to naturally observe what's happening without being sucked into the emotionality of what's going on. Remember the debates... he would almost always wait quietly and gather his thoughts as opposed to others who would actually butt in or raise their hands practically jumping up and down like they were in grade school because they were so emotional they couldn't hold it! Romney and Guiliani and McCain come to mind as the worst but some Dems also did that. Remember Ron Paul being so patient (a couple of exceptions when he was attacked personally) as these other guys fell all over themselves blabbing about vindictive actions THEY would take... puffing themselves up like exotic birds in mating fights. It's so obvious he's gonna "beat" McCain in any debate... but interestinly the 'way' he delivers and conducts himself leave many left wingers unhappy as well. There won't be any retribution, no hate or anger... You see unfed anger on both sides (of course mostly Angry Republicans) unhappy with the lack of emotionality... the right claims he's 'not strong'... a crock of course, but Angry people think happy people are weak... but some on the left also are pounding the table for Barack to "get him"... they don't get it either.
