I am not sure what to say about that, or Russia, at the moment. Paranoia from cold war times? I really don't like Putin, though. I think it could be the other way around, with some of Russia's satellites wanting US protection. They probably don't like Putin either. The Georgia crisis showed he is still in charge. There will be constant tensions with Russia, since they want to pursue their own interests, and the nukes are still very much present
