Personally, I prefer to let the evidence stand on its own merit and let it say what it will, all the chatter and whispered words, and rumors and endless gossip amount to nothing more than busy body guess work, and all most likely wrong, better to be left to the old biddies at the church cake sale somewhere... meanwhile, there's no evidence, it's only an investigation... an investigation doesn't automatically mean there was any wrong doing, just that an allegation was raised and reported... many of these kinds of investigations turn up absolutely nothing and are classified as unfounded, only to be expunged in 30 days... in my career, I conducted probably more than 1,000 State level investigations for the State of Florida as a State Officer, I also conducted State level investigations for other States as part of the interstate compact agreement which my State shares with other States... so many of them are found to be without any merit and have absolutely no evidence...
We do know that this State Trooper used a tazer gun on his step son, this is clearly child abuse for starters, he should have been fired, and in my State he would have been fired and charged with criminal assault on a child, there is no tolerance for that sort of thing, and there shouldn't be any tolerance, Palin did the right thing after the offender's supervisor refused the Governor's order to fire the offender... I applaud Palin for standing up to the system and kicking that jackass in the butt and taking him AND his reluctant supervisor off the State payrolls...
