Murkowski bought the jet, over widespread objections. Palin didn't really lie, she did put it up on eBay. Twice, I think. But nobody met the reserve bid, so she sold it thru a broker at loss. Like many politicians, she throws out sound bites that are "economical with the truth". I don't understand why.
