Rove's fingerprints are all over McCain's recent smears. McCain even has Rove people on his payroll. Jon Stewart showed a clip of Rove last night (the clip was from Jan, I think) talking about Tim Kaine, when it looked like Kaine would be Obama's VP pick. He ranted about how unqualified Kaine was, because he'd only been governor for a few years, lt gov before that, and mayor of the 'small city' of Richmond, Virginia. He kept going on about how Richmond was the 155th largest city, making it seem like a small hamlet... What a hypocrite. When McCain embraced Rovian politics, he lost all maverick credentials and further slid into the mold of Bush.
