She doesn't seem to particularly like her, but 1) it doesn't make her observations untrue and 2) it doesn't make the writer a "very liberal woman" though that MAY well be true. "Liberalness" is always relative. She may even like the attention but that also doesn't make her accounts untrue. Maybe she thought people deserved to know a little more about a relatively long period of service that is otherwise poorly documented in this candidate now running for VP. Who else is gonna know this stuff? Katie Couric? Bill O'Reilly? I'm sure if there's other angles to this they will be brought out by other locals who know the facts.

I look forward to Palin's explanation of the events depicted in the letter.
