The smoking gun phone call that might sink Palin. Actual recording. I cannot believe this moron, Bailey, actually said the things he said while being taped: community.adn.com Bailey, her right hand man, begs for Wooten to get fired, indicates that Palin is frustrated because she cannot get anything done administratively. She presumably is unsuccessful using her influence, then fires Monaghan, the head of the Troopers. Palin says Bailey did this on his own. Yeah, right. Whatever. Starts at minute 7. Report coming out October 10. I predict Alaska Troopergate will be deadly for Palin. Huge political pressures are being put on the ex-prosecutor investigating the incident. He already said he won't subpoena her. We'll see if he white-washes her in view of the incredibly strong circumstantial evidence indicating her involvement. Sloppy fact-checking - read The Atlantic piece I posted - takes its toll. She lied to McCain, too, said it is no big deal. She's dangerous. Stupid small time politico grasping for the big time, doing anything she can to spin her way out of a messy situation, including lying to her future boss and putting his campaign in jeopardy. What happens when you confuse evangelicalism with honesty.
