Gaddafi would likely have had nuclear weapons by now if Bush hadn't frightened him into giving up his program.

One thing is certain -- he'd still be trying.

I really thought that once Reagan won the Cold War and end the REAL nuclear proliferation in the world that that the Left would have seen that you don't solve these problems by playing softball.

The complexity of the process with which Reagan defeated the Soviets is nothing short of amazing and I can understand why the general public isn't attuned to it. But it is totally apparent to anyone who was paying attention that you have to play hardball, be strong, and use America's military power to shut down these behaviors around the world that we don't want.

We tried the Carter method and it didn't work; followed it with the Reagan method and it achieved the desired result. Now, we see the Obama method, which is the Carter method all over again.

How freaking stupid is that?
