Of course I recognize he worked at her pleasure. It is the way she has characterized her actions after the fact that is problematical. There is also an issue concerning her staff's review of Wooten's workers' comp records - which include private medical matters - that was probably illegal. Bailey admitted to this in the telephone call with Dial. In other words, she was using state resources and her power, probably illegally, to purusue a private vendetta. When she failed, she fired the Commissioner, a guy whose hands seem to be tied. She was interfering in a process established by law to pursue her private interest. I bet you dollars to doughnuts she was not as interested in other bad Troopers as much as she was in Wooten. It was an abuse of power.
