My guess is that the homework was right. The entire telecommunications industry is going through a mish-mash. To say that many companies are going to be globally competitive would be an understatement. Take Bell Canada/BCE/Nortel as an example. To be globally competitive and compete against cable companies who are themselves in competition with direct to home satelites, they must provide services from A to Z. Provide the lines, equipment, expertise and vision. The VNC fits right in.

Example: Bell Canada sells telephones right. Bell Canada wants big into the Internet. More Data lines flow today than voice lines. What a match made in heaven Corels VNC sold or rented out by Bell. My guess is hundreds of thousands of units. The potential is enormous.

1,000,000 units represents a billion in sales. Tag along the software and bingo!
