Yes, thanks for the info. I started nibbling when you sold. Plan to continue buying--love the price here. Just holding, maybe forever. Beam is selling at book. Great franchise. Great future potential. I simply don't believe its as bad as market is saying. Maybe if what you say is true--then Visx will have to buy out Beam (patents value, etc.)? If I were you I would definately repurchase Beam.

If, as I've heard, Beam isn't selling machines then why is VISX worried about receiving royalty pmts from Beam? Maybe Beam is selling more machines than people say? Maybe VISX has a cash flow problem...?

Please compare/contrast astigmatism tx between the machines. I've heard several theories and wonder what is right.
