I think if you really believe in "creationism" you will want to have it taught in school.

I disagree. It's obvious to me that the Catholic Church believes that God created the universe. When I was growing up they also didn't see a conflict with that and evolution.

That god created the universe was taught in the school I went to, it was called religion class. Evolution doesn’t explain the origin of life; it explains the origin of species and what we see today.

If you are saying the believing in “Creationism” means you believe it is science then it’s a tautology that you would want it in a science class.
