That $3,269.00 rebate check sure sound pretty good for the oil. Everyone has been getting wealthy off of oil and natural resources why should Americans not enjoy the procedes here while becoming energy independent? My understanding is the polar bears coexist with the oil industry just fine. It's kind of like the deer in my back yard in Northern Virginia. The liberals here opposed deer kills that would reduce the population-----regardless of deer jumping out in front of vehicles and endangering lives. If it weren't Palin who is the nominee, the progressive-socialist party of Obama would be attacking whoever the nominee would be --------- There is not a candidate that the Republicans could have put up that you progressives would not be attacking. Temporarily it takes the focus off of Obama and his claim to fame as a Community Organizer. That's the transparent political strategy. Too bad Palin isn't running against Obama-----she would clean his clock. mj
