Keith, the fact you believe John McCain is 'a bit of a loose cannon,' speaks volumes. First of all, it says you're prone to believe liberal talking points. McCain never associated with a violent domestic terrorist like Bill Ayers, or called a bogus minister who damns the USA (and is a hatefilled bigot) his spiritual mentor. IMO Obama has already proven to be the loose cannon of the two nominees. His vision of a "restructured" America is an insult to this great nation. The USA cannot be improved by Barack Obama's socialist programs. They've already abysmally failed wherever they've been tried. The McCain-Palin ticket represents true change--the kind of reform the majority of US voters want and will receive starting Jan 2009. Kenneth has made false statements about Republicans. Apparently you believe the untruths as well. Primarily your opinion of Sarah Palin is the most offensive statement in your post. Palin is a highly qualified, reform-minded Governor of Alaska. Her extensive executive experience is far more valuable as VP than Obama's brief, unproductive record in the US senate, or his self-admitted useless years as a community organizer. Fortunately, American voters recognize the merits and superior quality of the McCain-Palin ticket. You can relax--in the end the USA and all it's citizens will have a far more prosperous and peaceful future with John and Sarah's wise guidance. How did your liberal bias develop--were you born into a Democrat family? >The questions to me is which candidate would be a more effective leader over the next four years once in office, given that there no other realistic options. Both McCain and Obama are senators, and neither have "administrative" experience. Is Obama less experienced, yes. But to be honest, I think he may show better judgement than McCain overall. McCain is a bit of a loose cannon IMO, and I think that shows in the Palin pick. And she seems even more of a loose cannon than McCain is!<
