I wasn't saying there was anything dishonorable about it.

I was just saying that McCain had a bit of a "leg up" getting into Annapolis. Just like George W. had a bit of a leg up getting into the Texas Air National Guard.

As much as we like to think of America as a strict meritocracy, there is STILL a lot to be said for Money, Family Connections and Political Affiliations.
