I do agree that having Palin as President would not mean that there would be a much higher probability of Creationism being taught in schools. But that's really not the point.

That was exactly the point to which I was responding. Perhaps you were skimming. <g>

It's been interesting to watch the thread evolution of late. There is no longer any pretense at even-handedness. The halo effect is astounding. Which is why I questioned claims that Obama was going to fix graduate education in science. Likewise the devil effect. Which is why I questioned McCain introducing creationism in schools.

And again, that would be bad from my own viewpoint, of course.

Your viewpoint and mine re what would be good or bad varies little if at all. What varies is our assessment of risk.
